The Jewish Student Union (JSU) at Michigan State University is a voting member of ASMSU, MSU’s undergraduate student government, and plays an important role in representing Jewish student life on campus. JSU maintains a strong partnership with MSU Hillel—a non-university organization—and together they work to create a vibrant and welcoming Jewish presence at MSU.

JSU serves as the umbrella organization for a diverse array of student-led groups and initiatives that provide meaningful opportunities for Jewish students to explore, celebrate, and express their cultural and ethnic identities. Its programming is open to all members of the MSU community, including students, faculty, and staff.

​

Throughout the year, JSU sponsors a variety of signature events such as Welcome Week celebrations, Sparty’s Hanukkah Party, Sparty's Bar Mitzvah Party, comedy nights, and many other programs that highlight the richness and diversity of Jewish culture.

Funded and supported by MSU Hillel and ASMSU, the Jewish Student Union is committed to fostering community, building connections, and enriching Jewish life at Michigan State University.
